Green Plants

flowering plantFlowering or Blooming Plants
Flowering or blooming plants have blooms or flowers of some type, which distinguishes them from being just a green plant. Keep in mind that most blooming plants are available during specific seasons.

We carry amaryllis, azalea, African violet, Christmas cactus, cymbidium orchid, mum plants, cyclamen, Easter lily, tulip, poinsettia, kalanchoe and hyacinth. Each plant requires different care and for that reason we are always sure to include a care card with each plant we deliver. Prices and variety of plants may differ depending on delivery location.

A popular option to sending flowers is sending a beautiful green or flowering plant. We carry plants in all price ranges (from $15.00 to $100.00+) and sizes. When ordering a plant of any kind from our shop we have a $35 minimum for delivery. Judy's Village Flowers offers a wide variety of green and flowering plants. The difference between the two is quite simple. The green plant is just that, green only and has no flowers or blooms.

Examples of green plants that we carry on a regular basis would be a peace lily (spathiphyllum), jade, rubber, ficus, aglonema, sansaverna, schefflera, palm, pothos and dieffenbachia. Most green plants are available year round. Each plant requires slightly different care. We always include care cards with every plant we deliver to educate our recipient on how to properly care for their new plant. Below is an example of a green plant, a blooming plant and a dishgarden.

Dishgardens
Our most popular style of plant is the dishgarden. A dishgarden contains a variety of 4 or 5 different plants usually in a ceramic, terracotta or basket container. The advantages of owning a dishgarden include easy care, durability and a small space requirement in the home.

Even if you may not have a green thumb, you'll find it difficult to kill a dishgarden. Another benefit of a dishgarden is that you can add fresh cut flowers to it. This gives the dishgarden a nice look and the flowers will last up to a week. The flowers can be easily removed and the dishgarden can be enjoyed for many months. Dishgardens start at $35.00.
